Founded September 19, 2022, the Charlotte African Drum and Dance Collective's mission is to share culture and build community through traditional West African drum and dance.  This 501(c)3 nonprofit is guided by a dedicated board of leaders who bring passion, experience, and a shared love for African drum and dance to everything we do. Each member’s unique background and journey enriches our collective spirit, creating a welcoming space where culture, community, and creativity thrive. Together, we work to preserve and share African traditions while fostering an environment that celebrates artistry, connection, and lifelong learning.
