CADDC Annual Youth Showcase

This years' showcase has an extra special cause as we are fundraising for our trip to Ghana West Africa in 2027! The youth have been working on learning different dances and social games that highlight call and response. The benefit of engaging in social play using this technique is vital in helping to develop their social intelligence, build cognitive connections, and regulate emotions. Evidence based research has shown how beneficial cultural movement activities, especially done in a community setting, helps to improve resilience, mental health, and lays a foundation for physical fitness as an adult. We will have vendors so bring your money to support a small business during the event.
